Final Stretch into Aspen

Just past the town of Glenwood Springs, known for its hot springs, we’ll exit onto Colorado Highway 82. This final stretch takes you up the Roaring Fork Valley directly into Aspen. You’ll watch as the landscape transforms, with the iconic peaks of the Elk Mountains, including the famous Maroon Bells in the distance, growing larger as you approach your destination at the base of Aspen Mountain.

For skiing, the route is busiest from December through March. The roads are well-maintained, but winter conditions can cause delays.
